Celebrating Women Everywhere

For Women’s Day this year, we hope to inspire and encourage our community by celebrating women everywhere throughout the month of March.

We believe in the power of creativity and freedom of expression. Hence, in our first campaign titled #womanwithablankcanvas, we’ll be learning more about a couple of pioneers in the creative arts. Despite external discouragement, these women went against social stigma and expressed themselves fully anyway. 

We'll be looking at Mary Shelley, who wrote the first science fiction novel, Frankenstein, as well as Frida Kahlo, one of Mexico’s greatest artists and in our opinion, a face of feminism in fine arts.

Secondly, with #mosserystories, we reached out to our community in search of stories. Boy, did we find gems! 

First off, there's Yen Nee, one of our long-time customers and definitely a personal friend to us now—outgoing, strong, and firmly grounded in her principles. Then there's Yulia, a curious and young soul exploring the lefts and rights of life by constantly stepping out of her comfort zone.

We’re thankful that we were able to speak to both of them, and that they were very gracious to share their personal stories with us. You can check out our Instagram as we ask them about the struggles and smiles of being a woman in their own communities.

Although all these women are from different backgrounds, cultures, and even timelines, we see one thing in common—passion for their lives and dreams. Their mindset of continually embracing uncertainty has definitely impacted 

their outlook on life positively.

It’s easy to give up when life pushes you down, but it takes courage and perseverance to get back up every time to continue pursuing your dreams. Let's do our part to celebrate women everywhere by sharing their stories of grit and resilience!
